The Little Mermaid JR Auditions

Leeds Center for the Arts is excited to host auditions for our upcoming production of The Little Mermaid JR on August 19th and 20th.

Auditions are open to students ages 8-18. You must be 8 years old by the audition date.

Everyone auditioning must fill out the form linked above.

Please choose a time slot on the audition form, and prepare a 16 bar cut of a song in the style of the show. An accompanist will be provided, so please bring sheet music. If you need help finding sheet music, MusicNotes.com is a great resource. There will also be a dance call so please dress comfortably for movement.

Callbacks will be held August 21st at 6:00 PM.

Show Dates: November 8-10 & 15-17, 2024. School matinees during the daytime will be Nov. 7 & 8. Rehearsal times will likely be Tuesday and Thursday evenings 6-9 PM and Sunday afternoons 1-4 PM. No one will be allowed to miss tech rehearsals or performances.

This show will be directed and choreographed by Ellie Miller, directed by Jacob Ernst, and musically directed by Steve Crosby.
