Join us for the culmination of eight weeks of a special partnership between the Leeds Youth Board and STRIDE. Students have worked together to create their own unique piece of theatre based on the popular children's book "Not A Box."
We hope you'll join us for this very special evening celebrating the magic of theatre and the profound impact of art in bringing people together.
The Leeds Youth Board consists of high school student leaders from the greater Winchester area. They work to enhance the greater community through arts-based projects, while strengthening their artistic and leadership skills.
STRIDE, which stands for Supporting Therapeutic Recreation for Individuals with Disabilities Everyday, began in 2000. Therapeutic recreation has been used as a way to offer more experiences to individuals with disabilities. STRIDE serves individuals that have a learning or developmental disability and who might also have a physical disability. We offer daily programming from cooking classes, dances, Special Olympic activities, therapy, daily living skills classes, and much more in an effort to improve the quality of life for the participants.
