Artwork Silent Auction: August 22-September 23

This fall, Leeds Center for the Arts will produce its inaugural “Main Event” on Saturday, September 23. The “Main Event” will feature an evening of performance from favorite area actors and singers (as well as a few cameo appearances from Winchester celebrities), special deals with downtown restaurants, and most remarkable: Main Street itself transformed into a gallery of donated silent auction artwork with proceeds split between the theater and contributing artists. 

Throughout the month leading up to the event, each piece of donated artwork will be displayed in a downtown business. Leeds supporters will be encouraged to visit each business, checking out and bidding on the art – and shopping as they do it. The auction will close the night of the performance, September 23, which will be a cabaret variety program with songs from favorite Leeds shows, comedy, dance, and a few surprises sure to tickle Winchester audiences.
