One More Fine Day
July 16 @ 7:30 pm - 10:00 pm
Leeds is honored to host the premiere performance of One More Fine Day. Written by Lexington native Caitlyn Waltermire Leonard, this dark musical comedy has been accepted into New York City’s International Theatre Festival: Summer Season.
After personal struggles with bipolar disease, Mrs. Leonard wrote One More Fine Day, the story of Teddy Sewell, an agoraphobic with Avoidant Personality Disorder, who is sentenced to a mental institution in 1974. It follows the darkly comedic and tragic events that unfold around Teddy, the other patients, and the hospital staff providing a unique insight into the world of mental illness.
As producer and director, Mrs. Leonard is responsible for all production costs. This pay-what-you-can performance will serve as a fundraiser to help her complete the funding process.
